FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

I shoot until I know I have a beautiful gallery for you. Image quantity is determined by the type of session, the flow of the session and so much more.

Can we include our animal?

As long as your animal doesn't bite or isn't overprotective, yes. However I will say that it's best to have them come into the session towards the end. I find that having an animal the entire session takes away from your alloted time trying to tend to an animal. If you want to bring your animal, have someone you know come along to hand off too when we are focusing on other images.

Where do you photograph at?

I have a list of some of my favorite locations, but ultimately we will discuss which locations works best for the type of pictures you're dreaming of.

How should we dress for our family session?

Earthy tones are best for my editing style. I always recommend two solid outfits to every one pattern. For example Mama in a patterned dress and two of the kids wearing solid shirts. Different textures work amazing (linen, lace, etc). That being said, I spend a lot of time doing beach sessions and some families opt for bathing suits. It's totally a preference. We can chat in further detail once we have the session details in place.

Can you photograph our extended family?

I specialize in intimate, emotionally driven images of your immediate family only. Extended family sessions are focused more on posing and less on feeling.
